Project overview

We’re proud to unveil one of the most recent additions to the Storage King portfolio: Storage King Morayfield. This four-storey self storage facility makes a bold statement, delivering convenience, security, and style in one timeless package.

Strategically positioned, Storage King Morayfield offers more than just visibility. The adjacent motorway connects Morayfield with Brisbane’s northern suburbs with Caboolture and the Sunshine Coast. The facility also features enviable proximity to a major shopping center and automotive mechanics. This allows the facility to cater to a wide range of local storage needs –  whether for retail stock, tools and equipment, or recreational gear.

Boasting that classic Storage King façade, the building cuts a striking figure amidst its surroundings. With display doors rising up the building’s south–east corner, it’s hard to miss this modern facility that effortlessly blends function with a familiar brand.

Storage fit out

The project stands as a testament to efficient planning and execution. Storco’s storage fit out was delivered in just 24 weeks through a seamless partnership TOTAL Construction Queensland. While TOTAL oversaw the building structure, Storco’s scope encompassed the full internal fit out, ensuring every detail met the Storage King standard.

With over 750 storage units across its four levels, the facility offers a variety of sizes and configurations. Unit sizes ranging from 6×3m to 1.5×1.5m accommodate everything from household items to business inventory. The facility’s finish matches the contemporary Storage King look, with full height rounded corners, two rows of wooden buffer rails, and swing and roller doors in Lazurite Blue.

The ground floor features a large loading dock area that can accommodate medium-rigid vehicles up to 9m long – ideal parking for rental trucks making an intercity journey. The dock includes a trolley bay and ample protection around the access doors and lift areas – ideal for high-traffic areas where bumps during move-ins are most likely to occur.
